Michael Rothhaupt has been working with databases since studying computer science in 2008. He worked for an Oracle system house for 7 years, where he dealt with the architecture, structure and operation of Oracle databases. The range of customers extended from medium-sized companies to large enterprises and government agencies.
Following this activity, he moved to a large German direct bank, where he was responsible for database operations and the introduction of the Exadata Database Appliance.
He then began his journey into self-employment, and at the end of 2021, Michael Rothhaupt founded Data-Appstairs GmbH based in Erlangen. In addition to classic database operations, Data-Appstairs works for customers on database-related software solutions that facilitate administration and enable automation.
